Agricultural market trends in Mekong Delta show price shifts

Agricultural commodity prices in the Mekong Delta are experiencing significant fluctuations. Prices for lemons and chilies have seen a slight increase, with wholesale prices rising by 3,000 to 5,000 VND/kg compared to the previous week. Retail prices for chilies in markets have reached between 70,000 and 90,000 VND/kg.

In contrast, Taiwanese mango prices have dropped sharply. Grade 1 green Taiwanese mangoes are currently being purchased at approximately 10,000 VND/kg, a significant decrease from 26,000 VND/kg a month ago. Grade 2 mangoes have also fallen to 5,000 VND/kg from 16,000 VND/kg.

Additionally, the sugar market is showing signs of recovery as confectionery businesses begin production cycles in preparation for the Tet holiday.
