Agricultural markets report local meat sales in Argentina and rising fruit prices in Peru

In Formosa, Argentina, a new sale of goat meat (chivitos) was held at the PAIPPA Institute and Soberanía Alimentaria Formoseña (SAF) fairs. The meat was sold at a price of $6,500 per kilo to promote local production and provide direct commercialization spaces for producers from the western region. The initiative involves logistical coordination between the provincial government and technical teams to ensure products reach various community centers.

In Peru, fruit prices at the Andrés Avelino Cáceres commercial platform have shown fluctuations. Avocado prices have risen from S/6 to S/10 per kilo due to the end of the season, while pitahaya increased from S/13 to S/15. Additionally, road blockades affecting products arriving from the north have contributed to price variations for certain goods being transported to Arequipa.
