Agricultural markets report rising prices for cereals, livestock, and soybeans

Agricultural markets showed varying trends on September 14, 2026. In Salamanca, Spain, prices for cereals and livestock increased. Specifically, Pedrosillano chickpeas rose by 25 euros per ton to reach 675 euros, while packaged alfalfa and straw also saw slight price hikes. Prices for lambs and kids also trended upward.

In Argentina and the international market, soybean prices experienced a positive start to the week. In Rosario, the available segment price rose by 0.91% to 555,000 pesos per ton. Internationally, Chicago soybean futures for November delivery rose to US$479.23 per ton. Analysts noted that the market found support from improvements in vegetable oils, influenced by energy commodity trends following infrastructure attacks in Saudi Arabia.
