Agricultural markets show upward trend in cotton, corn, and wheat

Agricultural markets for cotton, corn, and wheat are showing strong upward trends. After three years of declining prices, recent weeks have seen a market awakening, particularly in corn following heatwave-related damages in Central and Northern Europe.

Durum wheat prices are also rising, moving away from summer lows toward the 22-23 cents per kilogram range. Cotton is seeing increased interest, with some producers securing pre-sales at prices up to 53 cents per kilogram.

In addition to rising commodity prices, new financial tools from the Development Bank and various agricultural improvement schemes are expected to boost business activity within the agricultural sector.
