Agricultural producers face theft and fund mismanagement

Agricultural producers in different regions are facing significant challenges due to insecurity and financial mismanagement. The owners reported that constant thefts of fruit made the investment unsustainable, leading them to sell off project components despite existing financial commitments to banks.

In Milpa Alta, Mexico, farmers have protested against the local administration, alleging the misappropriation of funds intended for the agricultural sector. Producers are demanding an immediate audit and the payment of outstanding support, specifically noting that the lack of transparency affects those cultivating forage oats and alfalfa.
