Agricultural stakeholders in Argentina and Chile are hosting regional seminars to improve local production techniques.
In Jacinto Arauz, Argentina, the Ministry of Production and INTA have organized a session titled “Challenges and Achievements of Perennial Pastures.” The event focuses on the implementation, management, and economic results of megathermal pastures in the southern Pampas region. Producers and technicians will share experiences regarding forage yield and economic balance to help others avoid common establishment errors.
In the Aysén Region of Chile, SAG Aysén and INACAP conducted a seminar titled “The Potato: From Field to Table.” The meeting brought together potato producers, students, and the gastronomic sector to discuss potato varieties, adaptation to local conditions, and quality conservation. The initiative aims to strengthen the link between local producers and the regional culinary industry to boost tourism and market positioning.
