Agricultural properties hit Australian market

Two significant agricultural properties have been brought to market in Australia.

Mintram Farms, located in the Burdekin region of Queensland, is a 1,295-hectare (3,200-acre) farming operation. The property features fertile black soils and red loam, supporting broadacre cropping and horticulture. Currently, 1,052 hectares are under cultivation, with recent yields reported for sorghum, mungbeans, and chickpeas. Infrastructure includes eight 200-tonne Denny silos, a 75kW solar system with lithium batteries, and a 1,200-meter private airstrip. The site possesses significant water security through a 2,350 megalitre irrigation allocation and dual licenses on Wangaratta Creek.

In New South Wales, the Strike A Light property in the Manning Valley has also been listed for sale. This 1,937-hectare (4,786-acre) high-rainfall grazing operation is situated in the Cells River district. The property has an estimated carrying capacity of approximately 600 breeders and features 20km of river and creek frontage along with 35 dams. Improvements include a renovated three-bedroom homestead, staff accommodation, modern cattle yards, and irrigation infrastructure servicing 35 hectares. The area receives an average annual rainfall of approximately 1,000mm.
