Agricultural sector events held in Brandsen and Toay

In Brandsen, the Dairy Symposium was held as part of Expo Brandsen, organized by the Confederation of Rural Associations of Buenos Aires and La Pampa (CARBAP). The event focused on the challenges and competitiveness of the Argentine dairy industry. Sebastián Alconada, national director of Dairy, presented data on growth and modernization, emphasizing that competitiveness relies on production levels, collection logistics, and transport efficiency. Discussions also highlighted the need for state regulations to facilitate access to technology, such as eliminating tariffs on milking equipment and automation machinery.

In Toay, the Rural Society of Toay successfully resumed its rural exhibition after a 30-year hiatus. The event brought together producers, breeders, and merchants, supported by the La Pampa Ministry of Production and local authorities. During the inauguration, Minister of Production Fernanda González noted that favorable weather conditions are supporting the agricultural sector. She also referenced recent financing lines provided by the Governor of La Pampa through the Banco de La Pampa to assist producers with herd recovery and the purchase of livestock.
