Agricultural universities in India announce 2026 recruitment

Anand Agricultural University (AAU) and Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) have announced various recruitment opportunities for 2026.

AAU is conducting walk-in interviews for four positions, including Junior Research Fellow, Project Assistant, and Contractual Staff. The Junior Research Fellow role requires an M. Tech or M. Sc. in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, GIS, or Agriculture Analytics. Salaries for these roles range from Rs. 37,000 to Rs. 42,000 per month plus HRA, depending on the year of service. The walk-in date is scheduled for August 21, 2026.

PAU has announced one vacancy for a Young Professional-1 position. Eligible candidates must hold a B. Tech. in Agricultural Engineering or an M. Tech. in Farm Machinery & Power Engineering, and possess knowledge of Punjabi up to the Matric level. The monthly salary is Rs. 30,000. Applications must be submitted offline by August 21, 2026, with a walk-in date set for August 27, 2026.
