Agriculture Ministry candidates discussed for potential Flávio Bolsonaro administration

Political discussions are underway regarding potential candidates for the Ministry of Agriculture in the event of a Flávio Bolsonaro presidency. The Parliamentary Agriculture Front (FPA) is expected to present three names to the candidate, following a model similar to the 2018 administration.

Federal Deputy Pedro Lupion is currently considered a frontrunner due to his leadership within the FPA and his ties to the Bolsonaro family. Other names being discussed include former Goiás Governor Ronaldo Caiado, businessman Odílio Balbinotti, and former FPA executive Geraldo Melo Filho.

In Mato Grosso, State Deputy Max Russi has advocated for the state to maintain its influence in the ministry, suggesting either former Governor Mauro Mendes or Odílio Balbinotti as candidates to ensure Mato Grosso retains a seat in the national administration.
