Agrifest South West to expand livestock competitions in 2026

Agrifest South West will return to Westpoint Arena in Exeter on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. The event is expanding its livestock competitions to include new pig classes for the first time.

The West Country Food Village will also return for its second year, showcasing artisan produce, regional food and drink, and festive gifts from a variety of local makers and growers. Competitive categories, such as the Steak, Burger & Sausage Competitions, will involve beef, sheep, pig, and goat farmers.

Deborah Custance Baker, chair of Agrifest South West, noted that the event serves as a social occasion for the farming community to reconnect during the winter months. The event is free to attend.
