Agrigento authorities issue bans following violent brawl in San Leone
The Questore of Agrigento, Tommaso Palumbo, has issued five urban area access bans, known as “Daspo Willy,” following a violent brawl in San Leone on August 2, 2026. The incident occurred between Piazzale Giglia and Viale dei Giardini, involving a group of local youths and a 26-year-old Gambian man residing in Agrigento.

The 26-year-old Gambian man, who is currently in custody facing charges of brawling and attempted murder, is banned from all public bars and restaurants throughout the entire province of Agrigento for three years.
