Agrigento nursery project in Villa del Sole nears completion

A controversial new nursery and kindergarten facility located within Villa del Sole in Agrigento is nearing completion. The project, valued at 3.3 million euros, received 3 million euros in funding from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan).

The construction has faced years of local debate regarding the decision to build within the Villa del Sole green space and the specific architectural design of the structure. While the facility is almost finished, local discussions have shifted toward the timeline for delivery and when children will be able to begin attending.
