Agrigento school network reorganization approved for 2027–2028

The provincial organization conference for the school network in Agrigento has approved several restructuring measures for the 2027–2028 school year. These decisions were made during a meeting at the Libero Consorzio Comunale di Agrigento involving mayors, school leaders, and representatives of parents and students.

Key changes include the merger of the Fermi – Re Capriata Institute with the Linares High School in Licata. Additionally, the Amato Vetrano Institute of Sciacca will establish a branch location in Calamonaci.

In the Canicattì area, a rationalization plan will reassign the primary and nursery school sites currently under the Crispi Institute to the Rapisarda Institute. These measures were developed based on school population trends and the organizational needs of the various territories.
