Agrigento section of UCSI established with Angelo Augusto as president

The Agrigento section of the Unione Cattolica Stampa Italiana (UCSI) has been officially established. The inaugural assembly took place in Licata at the headquarters of the online information portal QuiLicata.it.

Angelo Augusto, director of QuiLicata.it, was elected president by acclamation. The newly formed board includes Vice President Giuseppe Pantano, Secretary Giuseppe Cellura, and Treasurer Giovanni Siracusa. Five council members were also appointed to the leadership team.

The assembly was attended by UCSI Sicily President Gaetano Rizzo and National Councilor Francesco Pira. The new board intends to request an audience with the Metropolitan Archbishop of Agrigento, Monsignor Alessandro Damiano, to formally present the leadership.
