Agriinio to host launch of new educational and cultural year

The Agios Eugenios of Aetolia Culture Foundation, in collaboration with the Manouel Panselinos Byzantine Iconography School, will officially launch the 2026–2027 educational and cultural year in Agriinio on October 3, 2026.

The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting hall of the Agriinio Municipal Council, with the presence of Metropolitan Damaskinos of Aetolia and Acarnania. The event marks the continuation of the local Church's efforts in education, culture, and the arts, specifically targeting younger generations.

The foundation aims to provide diverse educational and artistic programs for children, youth, and adults to foster connection with local spiritual and cultural traditions. Additionally, the reopening of the Byzantine Iconography School seeks to promote the teaching and preservation of Orthodox iconographic art, offering students technical training alongside theological and spiritual insights.
