Agrinio: Fire destroys over 10 vehicles at abandoned factory

A large fire broke out late Friday night at an abandoned pizza factory in Agrinio, resulting in the destruction of more than ten vehicles and causing extensive property damage. The blaze occurred near the Alambee bridges, close to the National Road.

Firefighters faced difficulties accessing the site because the entrance to the long-abandoned facility was sealed, forcing them to break in to reach the flames. Four fire engines and eight firefighters were deployed to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further into the facility. While the fire has been brought under control, the exact cause remains under investigation by the Fire Service.
