Agrinio hosts Pink the City breast cancer awareness campaign

The city of Agrinio is participating in the ‘Pink the City’ campaign to promote breast cancer prevention, early diagnosis, and awareness. Organized by the Municipality of Agrinio’s Directorate of Social Protection and Public Health in collaboration with the ‘Alma Zois’ Breast Cancer Women’s Association, the initiative includes several community activities.

Scheduled events include a family-oriented day at Lake Trichonida featuring Pilates and creative workshops, as well as a symbolic walk from Fleming Square to Democracy Square. The campaign also includes medical support, such as Pap tests for uninsured women at the Agrinio General Hospital in cooperation with the hospital’s maternity unit.
