Agrinio to host international choral and photography festivals

Agrinio is set to host two major cultural events this October. The 7th International Choral Festival of Agrinio will take place on October 2 and 3 at the Anesis Municipal Cinema. Organized by the Agia Skepi Spiritual Cultural Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Agrinio and the Regional Union of Municipalities of Western Greece, the festival features 25 choirs from Greece and abroad. The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism and supports the “FLOGA” Association for parents of children with neoplastic diseases.

Additionally, the 8th Photopolis Festival will be held from October 3 to 11, 2026. The festival includes photography exhibitions, short film screenings, portfolio reviews, and discussions. Events will be spread across various city locations, including the Old Municipal Market, Papastrateio Mansion, and the House of Lucie Agrinio, aiming to connect photographic creativity with the urban and cultural fabric of the city.
