Agripac and Vitapro publish sustainability reports with new environmental and social milestones

Agripac released its eighth Sustainability Report for 2024‑2025, prepared under Global Reporting Initiative standards. The report highlights achievements such as ASC Feed certification for its Balanfarina feed plant, ISO 50001 energy‑management certification, progress in carbon‑footprint measurement, a zero‑waste program, solar‑panel installations and a reforestation initiative. It also notes that women now hold 30% of leadership positions. Alexandra Armstrong, Agripac’s Director of Sustainability, presented the report to staff and partners.

Vitapro issued its 2025 Sustainability Report, noting production of 933,000 tonnes of balanced feed – a 38% increase over the previous year – and that more than 70% of sales come from products developed in its Aquaculture Experimental Centers. The company emphasizes responsible sourcing, with ASC Feed certification covering its operations, 100% of whole‑fish and sub‑product inputs sourced from certified fisheries, and measures to avoid deforestation in plant‑based raw materials. Vitapro also reported an 8.7% reduction in corporate emission intensity during 2025.
