AgriStart program launched to support agricultural startups
Impact Hub Bucharest, acting as the EIT Food Country Representative, has launched the AgriStart program to support early-stage startups, researchers, and innovators in the agricultural and food sectors. Supported by EIT Food and Bayer, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between innovative research and market-ready products.
From the applicants, 10 teams will be selected to receive mentorship, workshops, and expert guidance for business validation. The two most promising startups will advance to a commercialization stage, gaining access to specialized services valued at up to 2,000 euros per team. The program targets various fields, including AgriTech, FoodTech, precision agriculture, digital farming, sustainable nutrition, circular economy, and food waste reduction.
