Agrofert received 1.73 billion CZK in subsidies in 2025

The Agrofert group received approximately 1.73 billion CZK in subsidies in 2025, accounting for nearly three-quarters of its 2.27 billion CZK net profit. Of this amount, 1.331 billion CZK consisted of operating subsidies, primarily related to agricultural primary production, while 401.6 million CZK was allocated for investment support.

Over the last three years (2023–2025), the group has received a total of approximately 5.58 billion CZK in subsidies. While the total amount remains high, operating subsidies linked to agriculture have seen a downward trend since 2023 due to redistributive payments designed to favor small and medium-sized farmers over large holdings.

Agrofert stated that these funds are not intended to compensate for market conditions or ensure profitability, but rather serve as financial incentives to meet EU requirements regarding environmental protection and animal welfare. The group noted that subsidies represent less than 1 percent of its total consolidated revenues of 212.2 billion CZK.
