The 15th AgroPonte Fair hosted livestock judging competitions for the Nelore and Brahman breeds on August 14 and 15. Technical evaluations were conducted by a judge accredited by the Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders (ABCZ).

Judges assessed the animals based on racial characteristics, muscular development, growth, carcass maturity, sexual precocity, and gait. The quality of the specimens presented was noted to be on par with those found in Brazil’s major livestock exhibitions, highlighting the evolution of cattle breeding in the Santa Catarina region.
