Agros Zamość female weightlifters win three medals at LZS U17 Championships

The Agros Zamość weightlifting club secured three medals at the LZS U17 Championships held in Biłgoraj, Poland. Despite only entering female athletes into the competition, the club finished third in the overall team standings among 32 competing clubs.

Aleksandra Wachna won the gold medal in the 77 kg weight category. She achieved a total two-lift result of 173 kg, consisting of a 75 kg snatch and a 98 kg clean and jerk. Her performance earned her 209.39 points in the Sinclair classification, placing third in that specific ranking.

Following a demanding season, Wachna is currently in a period of off-season training. She is scheduled to begin preparations for the upcoming season in the under-20 junior category and will attend a national team training camp in Zakopane in late November or December.
