AgTech Digital Platforms Debut in Ecuador and Argentina to Boost Farm Safety and Data Integration

In Ecuador, university students presented the "Ruta Verde" platform at Innova Fest UTPL 2026. The app, created by Andrés Fernández and his team, connects small‑scale producers with vetted transporters. Users must register with national ID and vehicle details, allowing the system to verify identities and criminal records before matching farmers’ loads with drivers, aiming to improve safety and efficiency in agricultural logistics.

In Argentina, the Sociedad Rural Argentina and the Asociación Argentina de Productores en Siembra Directa launched "Conecta," a digital ecosystem designed to unify the country’s leading AgTech solutions. Presented at Expo Rural, Conecta will enable producers to access interoperable data from yield monitors, equipment sensors, and sprayer controls, facilitating better decision‑making and sustainability reporting. The platform also incorporates the SRA’s Triple Impact seal to certify sustainable practices.

Both initiatives seek to modernize agriculture through technology, offering farmers more reliable services and data‑driven tools to enhance productivity and environmental stewardship.
