Agua Dulce, Veracruz receives machinery for river dredging

In Agua Dulce, Veracruz, new heavy machinery has arrived to support the dredging and rectification of the Agua Dulce River. The equipment, which includes two Hyundai crawler excavators with long and short arms, was provided through coordination between Mayor Ángel Delgado Ramírez and Governor Rocío Nahle.

The initiative aims to remove accumulated sediment and reshape the river's curves to improve water flow. These efforts are intended to mitigate flood risks during the rainy season and increase safety for local families living in vulnerable areas. The project involves cooperation between the municipal government, the State Water Commission (CAEV), and the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Public Works.
