Aguascalientes hosts Carrera de Colores running event

Over 800 participants took part in the 'Carrera de Colores' (Colors Race) as part of the 2026 Youth Month celebrations in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Organized by the Municipal Institute of Youth (IMJUVA), the event featured 5 km and 10 km races held on Avenida Gómez Morín.

Mayor Leo Montañez signaled the start of the competition. In the 10 km category, Fernando 'Pato' Arellano won the men's race and Delia López won the women's race. The event concluded with a medal ceremony led by IMJUVA director Francisco Emmanuel Muñoz Sánchez.
