Aguascalientes International Horse Fair concludes with 80,000 visitors

The 2026 International Horse Fair in Aguascalientes concluded successfully after ten days of activities held from August 7 to 16. Hosted at Isla San Marcos, the event featured over 170 activities, including exhibitions, competitions, and equestrian shows.

The fair saw the participation of 1,500 horses and 500 riders from Mexico and several other nations, including the United States, Australia, Wales, England, Canada, Argentina, Chile, and Spain. Erik Emmanuel Rodríguez Cruz, president of the Association of Breeders and Horsemen of Aguascalientes, noted that the event attracted approximately 80,000 visitors, providing a significant boost to the state's tourism and economy.

The event concluded with a positive balance and no reported incidents, reinforcing the region's position as a destination for international equestrian culture and sporting events.
