Aguascalientes officials and NatGas plant trees in Villa Sur Park

The Municipality of Aguascalientes, in collaboration with the company NatGas and local families, conducted a reforestation initiative at Villa Sur Park. During the event, 50 Brazilian pepper trees (pirul brasileño) were planted to expand and preserve the city's urban green spaces.

Mayor Leo Montañez led the activity, emphasizing that the initiative extends beyond the initial planting. He stressed the necessity of ongoing care, including irrigation and monitoring, to ensure the trees grow healthy and strong. The project highlights a coordinated effort between the municipal government, the private sector, and the community to promote environmental conservation and the maintenance of public spaces.
