Agudo tradition receives provincial tourism recognition

The Auroros de Agudo, a tradition with 450 years of history and over 1,200 documented coplas, has been officially recognized as a Provincial Festival of Tourist Interest. The celebration is deeply linked to devotion to the Virgin of the Rosary.

Following this distinction, local authorities in Agudo are now working toward achieving Regional Tourist Interest status. Miguel Ángel Valverde, president of the Diputación de Ciudad Real, participated in the traditional singing, emphasizing the importance of preserving such unique cultural and religious manifestations.
