Victor Caballero suspends wedding following controversial footage

Peruvian streamer and podcaster Victor Caballero, known as Curwen, has announced the suspension of his wedding to Carla Campos Salazar following controversial footage aired by the program ‘Magaly TV: La Firme’. The footage, captured at a nightclub in Miraflores, showed Campos dancing closely with Alonso Grimaldo, an individual identified as a friend.

While Caballero initially dismissed the incident as a mere greeting, he later admitted on his podcast, ‘Habla Good’, that he had been ‘blinded’ and acknowledged that the images were clear. He expressed feeling deeply hurt by the situation. In response to the broadcast, Caballero also confronted television host Magaly Medina, referencing her own past legal issues regarding defamation.

Carla Campos’s father, musician Diego Campos, defended his daughter, claiming the images were taken out of context and that she was simply dancing with a friend. Despite Caballero’s claims that the wedding is ‘cancelled’, some reports suggest a wedding planner is still moving forward with preparations.
