Agustín Albarracín joins Albacete on loan from Cagliari

Cagliari Calcio has officially announced the loan of Uruguayan attacker Agustín Albarracín to Albacete Balompié. The agreement is a straight loan without an option to buy, lasting until the end of the 2026/2027 season.

Albarracín, born in 2005, joined Cagliari from Uruguay's Boston River in January. While he made his Serie A debut against Pisa in March, the Italian club intends for him to gain more consistent playing time and development in the Spanish second division.

A versatile left-footed attacker, Albarracín is noted for his speed, technical ability, and capacity to play across the offensive line, including as a winger or second striker. He is expected to undergo medical examinations before finalizing the move.
