Agustín Rada Aristarán premieres Chanta at Teatro Astral

Agustín “Rada” Aristarán has premiered his new theatrical production, “Chanta,” at the Teatro Astral. The special press function drew numerous figures from the entertainment industry to support the actor.

The play follows the character Julio Ballesteros, who, after his death, revisits his life story to reflect on the contradictions, hypocrisy, and social absurdities he encountered. Through a blend of acid humor, cynicism, and irony, the narrative explores themes of ambition, opportunism, and the human condition.

While the performance utilizes comedy to engage the audience, it also serves as an existential reflection on the passage of time and the nature of existence, moving from hilarious moments to deeper inquiries about life and death.
