Kayseri hosts 6th International Half Marathon with 7,000 participants
The 6th International Kayseri Half Marathon has commenced, organized by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. The event features various racing categories, including 21K, 10K, and a Public Run, alongside specialized activities such as a Children’s Run and a Baby Run.
This year’s marathon has attracted a total of 7,110 participants, including 200 international athletes representing 21 different countries, such as Germany, the United States, Australia, and several others. The competition includes 50 elite athletes and offers a total prize pool of 2,774,000 TL.
The races take place across major streets and intersections in Kayseri, highlighting the city's growing status as a sports hub and its goal to become a World Sports Capital in 2029.
