Ahilyabai Holkar death anniversary honored by Indian Chief Ministers

Several Indian state Chief Ministers paid tribute to Ahilyabai Holkar on the occasion of her death anniversary.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described her as a living embodiment of women's power, justice, and public welfare. He noted her contributions to prosperity, social harmony, and religious renaissance, stating she established new dimensions of ‘cultural nationalism’.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also offered tributes, highlighting her role in the preservation of Indian culture, traditions, and the restoration of temples and religious sites. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta further commended her dedication to serving Sanatan culture and her efforts in reviving pilgrimage sites across the country.
