Şahinbey Municipality hosts 10th Book Fair in Gaziantep

The 10th Şahinbey Book Fair has opened at the Şahinbey Congress and Art Center in Gaziantep. Organized by the Şahinbey Municipality in collaboration with the Gaziantep Governor's Office, the Provincial Directorate of National Education, and local universities, the event runs from October 10 to 18.

Under the theme “Books are Life, Life is Books,” the fair features 176 publishing houses and 151 authors. The opening ceremony included attendees such as Gaziantep Deputy Governor Bülent Uygur, AK Party Istanbul Deputy Hulki Cevizoğlu, and Şahinbey Mayor Mehmet Tahmazoğlu. The event aims to encourage reading habits and connect citizens and students with various authors through signings and talks.
