Şahinbey Municipality teams win awards at TEKNOFEST

Youth teams supported by the Şahinbey Municipality achieved significant success at TEKNOFEST, Turkey’s major technology, aviation, and innovation event.

In the Rotary Wing category of the TEKNOFEST UAV competitions, the Şahinbey BİLSEM Göktürkler team secured first place in Turkey. In addition to their championship, the team was honored with the TUSAŞ Special Award.

In the Fixed Wing category, the Şahinbey Alpagu UAV team earned third place in Turkey. Şahinbey Mayor Mehmet Tahmazoğlu congratulated the students and teachers, noting that these achievements reflect the municipality’s investments in education, science, and technology to support the national technology initiative.
