AHLA Foundation awards $817,000 in scholarships to 256 students

The AHLA Foundation, the charitable arm of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, has awarded more than $817,000 in academic scholarships to 256 students for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Nearly 95% of this year’s recipients are from historically underrepresented communities. The scholars attend 78 institutions across the United States, comprising 52 AHLA-affiliated schools and 26 non-affiliated schools.

These annual scholarships are granted to students enrolled in hospitality management and related degree programs based on academic performance, extracurricular engagement, recommendations, and financial need. The program aims to cultivate future hospitality professionals and support the industry's long-term resilience.
