Ahmad Husam to address unauthorized titles allegations in court

Independent preacher Ahmad Husam Muhamad Baderudin has stated he will address allegations regarding the use of unrecognized honorary titles through the court process. He declined to comment further on claims that he is the target of an organized conspiracy to damage his reputation, asserting that the truth will emerge during legal proceedings.

The allegations follow claims made by a Facebook user, Ramlee KP, suggesting that the current issue is a coordinated effort to tarnish the preacher's image. The social media post alleged that the titles in question were obtained through a legitimate process in Melaka following recommendations from a former Prime Minister.

This legal matter follows a recent victory for Ahmad Husam in the Alor Setar High Court, where he won a defamation lawsuit against political activist Zamil Ibrahim and former special officer to Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Muhammad Mukhlis Maghribi. The court ordered the defendants to pay damages and costs totaling RM483,000.
