Ahmad Khatami discusses resistance and diplomacy in Tehran sermon

During Friday prayers in Tehran, interim Friday prayer leader Ahmad Khatami delivered a sermon focusing on religious and strategic themes. He discussed the Quranic concept of ‘Yawm al-Fasl’ (the Day of Sorting), describing it as a day when truth is separated from falsehood.

Khatami also addressed the Prophet Muhammad’s conduct during wartime, using the Battle of Badr as a historical reference. He emphasized that successes in conflict should not be attributed to any specific faction or group, but rather to divine assistance. He noted that despite being outnumbered and out-equipped, the believers received divine support, and encouraged continued resistance and intelligent diplomacy.
