Ahmad Luthfi receives praise from social science academics

Social science and political science academics from various Indonesian state universities have commended the leadership style of Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi. During a meeting of the Forum of Deans of Social and Political Science Faculties of State Universities across Indonesia (Fordekiis) in Semarang, scholars highlighted his approach as being populist, humanist, and open to intellectual collaboration.

Finnah Fourqoniah, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Mulawarman University, noted Luthfi’s ability to deeply understand regional issues and articulate strategic steps to address them. She emphasized that his sensitivity to local problems and his efforts to involve universities in formulating development solutions serve as a model for other regions.

Wawan Mas’udi, Chairman of Fordekiis and former Dean of FISIPOL at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), described Luthfi as a “down to earth” leader. He noted that the Governor applies principles of collaborative governance, prioritizing citizen concerns and opening doors for academic institutions to participate in the regional development process.
