Ahmadiyya Muslim community grows in Newfoundland

In Newfoundland, Canada, the Ahmadiyya Muslim community has established a growing presence near Cape Spear, the easternmost point of North America. Following the arrival of several families in the late 1990s for work and study, the community reached a significant milestone in 2019 with the opening of the Baitul Ehsan Mosque in Conception Bay South. This marked the first Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque in the province. In 2021, the community also received its first resident missionary dedicated to serving the region.

This development fulfills a historical prediction made in 1898 by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, who stated that his message of peace would eventually reach the corners of the earth.
