Zamalek SC faces uncertainty over Ahmed Fatouh's future

The future of Zamalek SC player Ahmed Fatouh remains uncertain amid a significant transfer offer from the Libyan club Al Ahli Benghazi. Reports indicate that Al Ahli Benghazi has increased its offer to purchase the player for $1 million, following earlier bids of $500,000 and $700,000.

There are conflicting reports regarding the club's stance. Maher Gharib, head of Zamalek's media system, stated that the club has no intention of allowing Fatouh to leave, either through a sale or a loan, emphasizing his importance as a team leader. Conversely, some reports suggest Fatouh is pressing for a move, noting that his contract expires at the end of the current season, which would allow him to negotiate with other clubs in the January transfer window.

In addition to a permanent sale, an alternative option involves a two-year loan deal. Under such an arrangement, the player could potentially earn $3.5 million over the two seasons. Zamalek is currently weighing several scenarios, including a permanent sale, a contract renewal, or a loan agreement.
