Ahmed Majdalani meets Chinese and Egyptian ambassadors in Ramallah

Ahmed Majdalani, Secretary-General of the Palestinian People's Struggle Front and member of the PLO Executive Committee, held separate meetings with Chinese and Egyptian ambassadors in Ramallah to discuss political developments and national unity.

During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Sun Chen, Majdalani addressed the postponement of legislative elections, noting that the decision was made due to complex circumstances and obstacles created by the Israeli government. He emphasized that the postponement aims to foster national consensus rather than cancel elections. Ambassador Chen reaffirmed China's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and the right to an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

In a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador Bassem Abdel Hadi, Majdalani praised Egypt's leadership in sponsoring the Palestinian national dialogue. He expressed hope for tangible results and a roadmap to end internal divisions and strengthen the democratic process. Majdalani highlighted the importance of the PLO as a unifying entity for all Palestinians. Ambassador Abdel Hadi reiterated Egypt's commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and promoting national unity.
