India legal news: Supreme Court bail ruling and regional updates

Various legal and criminal developments have been reported across India. In New Delhi, the Supreme Court made a 2024 bail order final for 105-year-old Rasik Chandra Mondal, a murder convict from West Bengal. The court waived any remaining sentence due to his advanced age and health issues, allowing him to live as a free man.
