Ahmet Nezih Kök exhibits lifelong collection in Erzurum

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Nezih Kök, a faculty member at Atatürk University and head of the Erzurum Group of the Forensic Medicine Institute, has opened an exhibition of his lifelong collection in Erzurum. The event is part of the 4th Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The exhibition, held at Erges Mansion, features items collected since Kök's childhood. The collection includes approximately 100 piggy banks, 1,500 nostalgic matchboxes selected from a total of 3,000, and 70 commemorative coins from the mint. Other notable items include old telephone cards, postage stamps, and 50 masks from various football teams used during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kök described collecting as a lifestyle and a way to create a connection between the past and the future. He noted that the exhibition has drawn significant interest from both older visitors, who feel nostalgic, and younger generations.
