Ahmet Tanoğlu Highlights Press Role in Erzincan Development on July 24

Erzincan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) chairman Ahmet Tanoğlu met with local journalists on July 24, the Turkish Press and Journalist Day. He recalled the date as the historic removal of censorship and stressed that the press serves as the city’s “eyes, ears and voice,” helping to showcase Erzincan’s economic potential, expose social issues, and act as a bridge between the public and institutions.

Tanoğlu thanked journalists for their dedicated work, honored press workers who have died, and pledged the chamber’s continued support for better working conditions and professional solidarity within the media community.
