AHMSA sale: Monclova residents hold vigil amid ongoing auction

In Monclova, Coahuila, local families and workers held a candlelight vigil at the Monumento del Ave Fénix to express hope for the revitalization of Altos Hornos de México (AHMSA). The symbolic gathering aimed to support the potential resurgence of the major steel company, which has historically driven the region's economy.

A bidder has recently submitted an offer for the purchase of AHMSA. However, the auction process remains ongoing and is expected to continue for another 10 days before a final outcome is determined.
