AhnLab expands Japanese presence at Security Days Fall 2026

South Korean cybersecurity firm AhnLab participated in the Security Days Fall 2026 Tokyo exhibition held from October 21 to 23. The company focused on expanding its business in Japan by showcasing integrated security capabilities for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) that connect Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT).

AhnLab presented specialized solutions designed for the manufacturing sector, including 'AhnLab XTD' for OT network security and 'AhnLab EPS' for OT endpoint security. The EPS solution is designed to be lightweight to minimize impact on industrial equipment and supports legacy operating systems that no longer receive security patches.

To bolster its regional operations, AhnLab recently appointed Yoji Tsubaki as the new country manager for its Japanese subsidiary. Tsubaki brings over 20 years of experience from companies such as IBM, Symantec, and Veritas. This move aligns with AhnLab’s broader strategy to transition into an AI-native security platform company, with long-term goals of reaching 1 trillion won in revenue by 2035.
