Ahome municipal government implements rural road maintenance

The municipal government of Ahome, Sinaloa, is conducting infrastructure improvements and road maintenance across its seven syndicatures and the city of Los Mochis. Mayor Antonio Menéndez de Llano Bermúdez reported that the Public Works Directorate and the Municipal Commission for the Development of Populated Centers (COMUN) are performing tasks such as ballasting and leveling rural roads.

These efforts aim to maintain roads in better condition and reduce the impact of the rainy season, particularly in areas where access for families might become difficult. The administration is coordinating between the Secretariat of Welfare, COMUN, Public Works, and Public Services to address the needs of both urban and rural communities.
